Zoology is a broad field that embraces many disciplines including Anatomy, Ecology, Physiology, etc.. Scope The Journal of Advanced Zoology started in 1980 is a peer reviewed half yearly online and prints journal, issued in June and December devoted to the publication of original research work in the various disciplines of Zoology. The Journal of Experimental Zoology Part A publishes articles at the interface between Development, Physiology, Ecology and Evolution.The Journal publishes original research in the form of rapid communications or regular research articles, as well as perspectives and reviews on topics pertaining to the scope of the Journal. Participants in the first cohort were born in 1910 and 1914 and were assessed at age 75 and 80 years, respectively (N = 500, participation rate 77%).Participants in the second cohort were born in 1938 or 1939 and 1942 or 1943 and were assessed at age 75 and 80 years, respectively (N = 726, participation rate 40%). The Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society publishes papers on systematic and evolutionary zoology and comparative, functional and other studies where relevant to these areas. Studies of extinct as well as living animals are included.
